About M.J.
Alongside my creative work, my career has been in higher education and enterprise systems consulting, helping people make sense of complicated systems and the work those systems are supposed to support.
My creative work includes children’s books, reflective travel videos, essays, and short videos about human patterns we often misunderstand. Across all of it, I’m interested in what we miss when we move too fast, label too quickly, or mistake limitation for the whole story.
Much of my recent work has also been shaped by caregiving, by learning what it means to live inside responsibility and constraint while still protecting curiosity, identity, and wonder.
