Professional Background
My career has included work in higher education, aviation, and enterprise systems consulting.
In higher education, I worked in registration, admissions, student affairs, and academic administration at community colleges, public universities, and PhD-granting institutions.
I am also a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, with particular interest in the human side of systems, AI, communication, and organizational change.
As a consultant, I work with colleges and universities using Banner Student and related systems, including within SaaS environments. My work includes implementation support, process analysis, training, testing, troubleshooting, communication, and change support. I have also been involved in developing implementation methodology.
At the center of this work is the human use of technology: bridging language between technical teams and functional users, clarifying needs, understanding constraints, and helping complicated systems make sense to the people who depend on them.
I also help colleagues understand and use AI in practical ways, think more clearly about change management, and become more confident as informal change practitioners in their own work.
